There is little doubt that man-made global warming is having an accelerated effect on our planet. The increase in global temperatures, melting ice caps, rising sea levels, extreme weather, and changes to the fragile ecosystem are all related directly or indirectly to human emissions of greenhouse gases. The culprit most commonly blamed for the problem is excess CO2, a by-product of burning fossil fuels.
